December 16, 2022, the Pine Creek
Mine, LLC filed a letter stating that the
licensee decided to no longer pursue the
Pine Creek Mine Tunnel Hydroelectric
Project. The Commission issued the
original license for the project on
September 23, 2021. No construction
has occurred at the project since
licensing. The project area would
remain in its pre-licensed, preconstruction condition. No ground
disturbing activities would occur as a
result of this surrender.
