The Skate Committee will meet to
discuss recent fishery performance and
outlook for 2023 and plan for the 2023
management track stock assessment for
skates. They will also progress towards
developing a white paper regarding
thorny skate as well as review of
specification setting process and plans
for developing 2024–25 skate
specifications, including setting
possession limits. Other business will
be discussed as necessary.
Although non-emergency issues not
contained on the agenda may come
before this Council for discussion, those
issues may not be the subject of formal
action during this meeting. Council
action will be restricted to those issues
specifically listed in this notice and any
issues arising after publication of this
notice that require emergency action
under section 305(c) of the MagnusonStevens Act, provided the public has
been notified of the Council’s intent to

p.m. to 4 p.m., Pacific Time. The

primary purpose of the GMT webinar is
to prepare for the Pacific Council’s April
2023 agenda items. The GMT will
discuss items related to groundfish
management and administrative matters
on the Pacific Council’s agenda. The

assignments relating to groundfish
management. No management actions
will be decided by the GMT. A detailed
