ddrumheller on DSK120RN23PROD with NOTICES1
I have determined that the damage in
certain areas of the State of California
resulting from severe winter storms, flooding,
landslides, and mudslides beginning on
December 27, 2022, and continuing, is of
sufficient severity and magnitude that special
cost sharing arrangements are warranted
regarding Federal funds provided under the
Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and
Emergency Assistance Act, 42 U.S.C. 5121 et
seq. (the ‘‘Stafford Act’’).
Therefore, I amend my declaration of
January 14, 2023, to authorize Federal funds
for debris removal and emergency protective
measures, including direct Federal
assistance, at 100 percent of the total eligible
costs for 60 days from the start of the
incident period.
