The Rule This amendment to 14 CFR part 71 amends the Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface to within a 6.5-mile (increased from a 6.4-mile) radius of Marshalltown Municipal Airport, Marshalltown, IA; and removes the Elmwood VOR/DME and associated extensions from the airspace legal description. This action is due to an airspace review as part of the decommissioning of the Elmwood VOR, which provided navigation information for the instrument procedures at this airport, as part of the VOR MON Program. FAA Order JO 7400.11, Airspace Designations and Reporting Points, is published yearly and effective on September 15.
