American Society of American Society
of Mechanical Engineers (‘‘ASME’’) has

changes to its standards development
activities. The notifications were filed
for the purpose of extending the Act’s
provisions limiting the recovery of
antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages
under specified circumstances.
Specifically, since August 13, 2021,
ASME has published seven new
standards, initiated three new standards
activities and withdrawn two proposed
standards from consideration within the
general nature and scope of ASME’s
standards development activities, as
specified in its original notification.
