Due to the design similarity, this condition can also exist or develop on Model A300, A300–600, and A310 series airplanes. This AD requires repetitive inspections and electrical test measurements (ETMs) of the affected parts, and applicable corrective actions, and prohibits the installation of affected parts under certain conditions, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. DATES: This AD is effective January 20, 2023. The Director of the Federal Register approved the incorporation by reference of a certain publication listed in this AD as of January 20, 2023.
