The Plant is located on Lake Murray in Lexington County, SC. The upgrade would include the installation of new pumps and a larger diameter raw water intake main to accommodate larger flows. Permitted water withdrawal would increase from the current maximum of 48 million gallons per day (MGD) to a maximum of 72 MGD. l.
