These cost burdens are expected to be offset by the monetary compensation that will be provided to all research participants. Participants will receive $100 after completion of the first session, $150 after completion of the baseline naturalistic driving, and $200 upon completion of the study. This compensation offsets both the participants time as well as the additional fuel costs, and the amount is in line with past similar efforts given the activities it requires of participants.
