Project name and location: Midvalley
Connector Bus Rapid Transit Project
(the Project) in the Cities of Murray,
Taylorsville, and West Valley, Salt Lake
County, Utah. Project Sponsor: The
Utah Transit Authority (UTA), Salt Lake
City, Utah. Project description: The
Project includes construction of a new
7-mile BRT service route from Murray
Central Station in Murray to the West
Valley Central Station in West Valley
City, travelling predominantly in mixed
traffic lanes, with the exception of 1.4
miles in dedicated bus lanes. The
Project includes construction of 15 new
stations consisting of sheltered seating
with real-time transit information and
off-board fare collection vending
machines. The Project also involves
transit signal priority, Complete Streets
initiatives such as pedestrian and
bicycle amenities, and associated
infrastructure improvements along the
BRT route.
Final agency actions: Section 4(f) de
minimis impact determination, dated
October 15, 2021; Section 106 No
Adverse Effect determination, dated
October 15, 2021; and Midvalley
Connector Bus Rapid Transit Project
Finding of No Significant Impact
(FONSI), dated September 23, 2022.

ACTION: Notice of open public event.
AGENCY:
Notice is hereby given of the
following open public event of the U.S.China Economic and Security Review
Commission.
The Commission is mandated by
Congress to investigate, assess, and
report to Congress annually on ‘‘the
national security implications of the
economic relationship between the
United States and the People’s Republic
of China.’’ Pursuant to this mandate, the
Commission will hold a virtual public
release of its 2022 Annual Report to
Congress in Washington, DC on
November 15, 2022.
DATES: The release is scheduled for
Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 10:30
a.m.
ADDRESSES: Members of the public will
be able to view a live webcast via the
Commission’s website at www.uscc.gov.

centralization of authority; China’s trade
practices; China’s energy plans and
practices; U.S. supply chain
vulnerabilities and resilience; China’s
cyber capabilities; China’s activities and
influence in South and Central Asia;
Taiwan; Hong Kong; and a review of
economics, trade, security, politics, and
foreign affairs developments in 2022.
Authority: Congress created the U.S.China Economic and Security Review
Commission in 2000 in the National
Defense Authorization Act (Public Law
106–398), as amended by Division P of
the Consolidated Appropriations
Resolution, 2003 (Public Law 108–7), as
amended by Public Law 109–108
(November 22, 2005), as amended by
Public Law 113–291 (December 19,
2014).
