ACTION: Notice of meeting. AGENCY: The Shasta County Resource Advisory Committee (RAC) will hold two public meetings in September 2022 according to the details shown below. The committee is authorized under the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act (the Act) and operates in compliance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). The purpose of the committee is to improve collaborative relationships and to provide advice and recommendations to the Forest Service concerning projects and funding consistent with Title II of the Act, as well as make recommendations on recreation fee proposals for sites on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest within Trinity County, consistent with the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act. DATES: The meetings will be held on the following dates/times: • September 14, 2022, 9:30 a.m.– 11:30 a.m., Pacific Daylight Time, and • September 21, 2022, 9:30 a.m.– 11:30 a.m., Pacific Daylight Time. Discuss, recommend, approve projects; 7. Public comment period; and 8. Closing comments from the DFO. The meetings are open to the public. The agenda will include time for people to make oral statements of three minutes or less. Individuals wishing to make an oral statement should request in writing at least three days prior to the meeting dates, to be scheduled on the agenda for a particular meeting. Anyone who would like to bring related matters to the attention of the committee may file written statements with the committee staff before or after the meeting.
