ACTION: Notice of meeting.
AGENCY:
The Shasta County Resource
Advisory Committee (RAC) will hold
two public meetings in September 2022
according to the details shown below.
The committee is authorized under the
Secure Rural Schools and Community
Self-Determination Act (the Act) and
operates in compliance with the Federal
Advisory Committee Act (FACA). The
purpose of the committee is to improve
collaborative relationships and to
provide advice and recommendations to
the Forest Service concerning projects
and funding consistent with Title II of
the Act, as well as make
recommendations on recreation fee
proposals for sites on the Shasta-Trinity
National Forest within Trinity County,
consistent with the Federal Lands
Recreation Enhancement Act. RAC

DATES: The meetings will be held on the
following dates/times:
• September 14, 2022, 9:30 a.m.–
11:30 a.m., Pacific Daylight Time, and
• September 21, 2022, 9:30 a.m.–
11:30 a.m., Pacific Daylight Time.
All RAC meetings are subject to
cancellation. For status of the meetings
prior to attendance, please contact the
person listed under FOR FURTHER
INFORMATION CONTACT.

telephone and/or video conference.

Written comments may be submitted

INFORMATION. All comments, including

comments received at the Weaverville
Ranger Station. Please call ahead at
530–623–2121 to facilitate entry into the
building.

Individuals who use
telecommunication devices for the deaf
and hard of hearing (TDD) may call the
Federal Relay Service (FRS) at 1–800–
877–8339, 24 hours per day, every day
of the year, including holidays.
SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The
meeting agenda will include:
1. Roll call;
2. Comments from the Designated
Federal Official (DFO);
3. RAC project updates;
4. Funding;
5. Elect Chair;
6. Discuss, recommend, approve
projects;
7. Public comment period; and
8. Closing comments from the DFO.
The meetings are open to the public.
The agenda will include time for people
to make oral statements of three minutes
or less. Individuals wishing to make an
oral statement should request in writing
at least three days prior to the meeting
dates, to be scheduled on the agenda for
a particular meeting. Anyone who
would like to bring related matters to
the attention of the committee may file
written statements with the committee
staff before or after the meeting. Written
comments and requests for time for oral
comments must be sent to Monique Rea,
RAC Coordinator, 360 Main Street,
Weaverville, California 96093; or by
email to monique.rea@usda.gov.
USDA programs are prohibited from
