AGENCY:
In compliance with the
Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA), this
document announces that EPA is
planning to submit a request to renew
and consolidate existing approved
Information Collection Requests (ICRs)
to the Office of Management and Budget
(OMB). Before submitting the
consolidated ICR to OMB for review and
approval, EPA is soliciting comments on
specific aspects of the proposed
information collection that is
summarized in this document. The
consolidated ICR is entitled: ‘‘Reporting
and Recordkeeping Under Section 8 of
the Toxic Substances Control Act
(TSCA)’’ and is identified under EPA
ICR No. 2703.01 and OMB Control No.
2070-[NEW]. EPA is consolidating
several ICRs covering reporting and
recordkeeping activities under TSCA
Section 8 to streamline the presentation
of the paperwork burden estimates for
these various activities and eliminate
any duplication, which will in turn is
expected to reduce the administrative
burden for both the public reviewers
and the Agency. The ICR and
accompanying materials are available in
the docket for public review and
comment.
