Abstract: The airspace waiver
program allows U.S. and foreign general
aviation aircraft operators to apply for
approval to operate in U.S. restricted
airspace, including flying over the
United States and its territories. TSA
collects certain information from the
aircraft operator concerning the
proposed flight and aircraft. TSA also
collects identifying information for all
pilots, crewmembers and passengers
who will be onboard the aircraft
operated in restricted airspace to
perform a security threat assessment on
each individual. TSA is revising the
identifying information collected to
include gender.
Number of Respondents: 8,881.1
Estimated Annual Burden Hours: An
estimated 6,785 hours annually.
