Description of Request: The licensee requests approval of a nonproject use of project lands and waters in support of a public park to be located adjacent to and partially on project lands. The licensee proposes a water withdrawal of 2.27 cubic feet per second (cfs) to be taken from the right bank of the Snake River, upstream of the Lower Development weir. The request includes provisions to construction an intake structure and a series of pipes leading to a constructed, educational stream and pond in the public park. Approximately 0.27 cfs of the diverted water would be used for irrigation in the park, and the remaining 2 cfs would be returned to the Snake River downstream of the Lower Development weir. This would be the first water withdrawal at the project, and it would not require any alterations of current project operations. l.
