k. Description of Request: Brookfield
White Pine Hydro, LLC proposes to
convey an easement to the Maine
Department of Transportation (DOT) to
facilitate replacement of the Frank J.
Wood bridge located downstream of the
Brunswick Dam. The bridge
replacement work would not result in
any changes to project structures or
operations but would require placement
of bridge piers within the project
boundary. In cooperation with the
Federal Highway Administration, the
DOT completed its final environmental
assessment of the bridge replacement
work in April 2019, which found that
the work would result in no significant
impact to the environment.
