The notifications were filed for the purpose of extending the Act’s provisions limiting the recovery of antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages under specified circumstances. Specifically, since September 6, 2019, ASME has published eight new standards, added two consensus committee charter, revised three consensus committee charter, initiated seventeen new standards activities, and withdrawn four proposed standards from consideration within the general nature and scope of ASME’s standards development activities, as specified in its original notification.
