and Procedure require all intervenors

k. Description of Request: The
licensee proposes to replace the Unit
No. 1 runner with a runner of the same
fixed-blade propeller design and outer
diameter, and update the project’s
automation, including replacing the
Unit No. 1 governor, installing a SCADA
system, and installing video systems for
remote monitoring. The proposal would
increase the installed capacity of Unit
No. 1 from 1,800 to 2,250 kilowatts
(kW). The licensee is not proposing
changes to the other two units, and no
ground disturbing activity would occur.
Under the proposed amendment, the
project’s authorized installed capacity
would increase from 3,050 to 3,500 kW,
and the total hydraulic capacity would
increase from 2,250 to 2,720 cubic feet
per second.
