of the minimum flow requirements at
three project locations, including North
Fork Battle Creek below North Battle
Creek Dam, North Fork Battle Creek
below Macumber Reservoir, and Battle
Creek below Coleman Powerhouse.
Specifically, the licensee requests
Commission approval to reduce flows
below North Battle Creek Reservoir and
Macumber Reservoir from a 0.3 cubic
feet per second (cfs) instantaneous
requirement to a 24-hour average flow.
Similarly, the licensee proposes to
reduce flows in Battle Creek from a 150
cfs instantaneous minimum flow to a
24-hour average flow. The licensee
states that the flow modification would
conserve limited water resources during
the current drought conditions and to
maintain reservoir elevation and water
quality in project reservoirs. The
licensee requests the variance through
October 31, 2021.
