The Internal Revenue Service,
as part of its continuing effort to reduce
paperwork and respondent burden,
invites the public and other Federal
agencies to take this opportunity to
comment on proposed and/or
continuing information collections, as
required by the Paperwork Reduction
Act of 1995. Currently, the IRS is
soliciting comments concerning the
burden associated with Form 4506–A,
Request for Public Inspection or Copy of
Exempt or Political Organization IRS
Form and 4506–B, Request for a Copy of
Exempt Organization IRS Application or
Letter.

Form Number: 4506–A and 4506–B.
Abstract: Internal Revenue Code
section 6104 states that if an
organization described in section 501(c)
or (d) is exempt from taxation under
section 501(a) for any taxable year, the
application for exemption is open for
public inspection. This includes all
supporting statements, any letter or
other documents issued by the IRS
concerning the application, and certain
annual returns of the organization. Form
4506–A, Request for Public Inspection
or Copy of Exempt or Political
Organization IRS Form and Form 4506–
B, Request for a Copy of Exempt
Organization IRS Application or Letter,
is used to request public inspection or
a copy of these forms.
Current Actions: There are no changes
in the paperwork burden approved
under 1545–0495.
Type of Review: Extension of a
currently approved collection.
Affected Public: Individuals or
households, businesses or other forprofit organizations, not-for-profit
institutions, farms, and Federal, state,
local or tribal governments.

performance of the functions of the

ACTION: Notice of a modified system of
records.
AGENCY:
As required by the Privacy
Act of 1974, notice is hereby given that
the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
is modifying the system of records
entitled ‘‘Enrollment and Eligibility
Records-VA’’ (147VA10NF1) as set forth
in the Federal Register. This system of
records notice is removing all elements
of the Program of Comprehensive
Assistance for Family Caregivers and
the Program of General Caregiver
Support Services established by the
Caregivers and Veterans Omnibus
Health Services Act of 2010, signed into
law on May 5, 2010. Information
pertaining to caregivers is now located
within a new system of records entitled,
‘‘Caregiver Support Program-Caregiver
Record Management Application
(CARMA)-VA’’ (197VA10). VA is
amending the system by revising the
System Number; System Location;
Categories of Individuals Covered by the
System; System Manager; Record Source
Categories; Routine Uses of Records
Maintained in the System; Policies and
Practices for Retrievability of Records;
Policies and Practices for Retention and
Disposal of Records; and Physical,
Procedural, and Administrative
Safeguards. VA is republishing the
system notice in its entirety.
DATES: Comments on this modified
system of records must be received no
later than 30 days after date of
publication in the Federal Register. If
no public comment is received during
the period allowed for comment or
unless otherwise published in the
Federal Register by VA, the modified
system of records will become effective
