Approximately 15,000 POTWs that meet
the definition under 40 CFR 403.3(q), 50
POTWs for site visits, and 100 state and/
or small municipal association contacts.
Respondent’s obligation to respond:
Voluntary.
Estimated number of respondents:
12,000 (total).
Frequency of response: One-time data
collection.
Total estimated burden: 8,747 hours
(per year). Burden is defined at 5 CFR
1320.03(b).
Total estimated cost: $398,120 (per
year), which includes $8,800 annualized
capital or operation & maintenance
costs.
Changes in Estimates: There is
decrease of approximately 41,000 hours
in the total estimated respondent
burden compared with the ICR currently
approved by OMB. This decrease is due
to screener questionnaire responses
already received, reduced number of
total respondents, and replacement of
EPA’s estimated respondent burdens
with the actual time respondents took to
complete the screener questionnaire.
The Committee will continue to review
various issues that may include, but not
be limited to, examination policies and
procedures, credit and lending
practices, deposit insurance
assessments, insurance coverage, and
regulatory compliance matters to
promote the continued growth and
ability of community banks to extend
financial services in their respective
local markets. The structure and
responsibilities of the Committee are
unchanged from when it was originally
established in July 2009. The Committee
will continue to operate in accordance
with the provisions of the Federal
Advisory Committee Act.

General Services Administration, the
Chairman of the Federal Deposit
Insurance Corporation has determined
that renewal of the FDIC Advisory
Committee on Community Banking
(Committee) is in the public interest in
connection with the performance of
duties imposed upon the FDIC by law.
The Committee has been a successful
undertaking by the FDIC and has
provided valuable feedback to the
agency on a broad range of policy issues
that have a particular impact on
community banks throughout the
United States and the local communities
that are served by community banks.
