The Inter-American
Foundation (IAF), as part of its
continuing efforts to reduce paperwork
and respondent burden, conducts a
preclearance consultation program to
provide the general public and federal
agencies with an opportunity to
comment on proposed and/or
continuing collections of information in
accordance with the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995. This program
helps ensure that requested data is
provided in the desired format;
reporting burden (time and financial
resources) is minimized; collection
instruments are clearly understood; and
the impact of collection requirements on
respondents is properly assessed.
DATES: Written comments must be
submitted to the office listed in the
address section below within 60 days
from the date of this publication in the
Federal Register.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The IAF is
seeking to learn from its experience in
funding grantees across El Salvador,
Guatemala, and Honduras (the
‘‘Northern Triangle) in recent years. The
agency has performance monitoring data
across the Northern Triangle that
reflects how well individual grantees
are implementing their projects toward
desired outcomes. The IAF seeks to
understand how the agency can further
improve its support through a grantee
survey as they seek to generate
alternatives to forced migration. Having
this systematic information will help
guide IAF decisions on how to better
