The U.S. Forest Service (USFS) regulates exploration for various types of minerals, including oil and gas, on lands it manages. The BLM and the USFS propose to revise the accuracy and usefulness of the forms they use for this collection of information. OMB Control Number 1004–0162 is currently scheduled to expire on October 31, 2021. The BLM plans to request that OMB renew this Control Number for an additional three years.
