The applicant indicates that more
reliable and cost-effective sources of
electricity are available, and the project
is no longer cost-effective to operate.
The applicant proposes to
decommission the project by removing
all flashboards, disconnecting leads
from generators, removing all generation
and electrical equipment, as well
securing each project development with
fencing. The dams would remain in
place and no ground disturbing
activities would occur.
