information.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Section
310(d)(1)(C)(i) of the Small Business
Investment Act of 1958 requires Small
Business Investment Companies (SBICs)
to submit audited financial statements
to SBA at least annually. SBA
regulations at 13 CFR 107.630 requires
the use of SBA Form 468 when
submitting the financial statements and
supporting documentation. The
information collected is used to

determine the creditworthiness of an
SBIC when considering its leverage
application and to monitor its financial
condition after assistance is provided.
The information is also used to evaluate
an SBICs’ compliance with certain
regulations, such as the activity
requirements in 13 CFR 107.590 and the
portfolio diversification requirements in
13 CFR 107.740.
