The Commission’s Rules of Practice
and Procedure require all intervenors
filing documents with the Commission
to serve a copy of that document on
each person whose name appears on the
official service list for the project.
Further, if an intervenor files comments
or documents with the Commission
relating to the merits of an issue that
may affect the responsibilities of a
particular resource agency, they must
also serve a copy of the document on
that resource agency.
k. Description of Request: Central
Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation
District (CNPPID) filed a non-capacity
amendment of license application
requesting Commission approval to
modify the project boundary for the
Kingsley Dam Project based on the
findings of its final project boundary
review report. CNPPID’s request is
based on its analysis of the existing
lands and shorelines around project
reservoirs to determine their need for
project operation and other project
purposes, including public access for
recreation. The proposed boundary
modification would add approximately
3,400 acres and remove approximately
900 acres, resulting in a net increase of
2,500 acres of additional lands to be
included within the project boundary.
l. Locations of the Application: A
copy of the application is available for
inspection and reproduction at the
Commission’s Public Reference Room,
located at 888 First Street NE, Room 2A,
