SUMMARY: The Federal Aviation Administration received written notice 
from the Alaska Department of Transportation (AKDOT) advising that 
infrastructure associated with Haines, Alaska Seaplane Base (3Z9) is 
permanently closed.

DATES: The permanent closure of the seaplane base is retroactively 
effective.
