Academic Affiliations Council, Notice

The Department of Veterans Affairs
(VA) gives notice under the Federal
Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. App.
2, that the VA National Academic
Affiliations Council (Council) will meet
via conference call on March 9, from
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST. The meeting
is open to the public.
The purpose of the Council is to
advise the Secretary on matters affecting
partnerships between VA and its
academic affiliates.
On March 9, 2021, the Council will
receive annual training from the
Advisory Committee Management
Office; brief on VA modernization
impact on trainee onboarding; status of
VA’s Electronic Health Record
implementation; and update from the
Strategic Academic Advisory Council
(SAAC). The Council will receive public
comments from 2:45 p.m. to 2:55 p.m.
