1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act 
of 1976, as amended (FLPMA), the United States Department of the 
Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Sierra Front Field Office, 
Carson City, Nevada, intends to prepare an Environmental Assessment 
(EA) and Land Use Plan Amendment (LUPA) to the current 2001 Carson City
