ACTION: Final rule; request for comments. AGENCY: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A350–1041 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report that, during testing, wear was found on the drive strut anti-rotation knuckles and lever bearing assembly (LBA) bushes on a certain flap station. This AD requires repetitive inspections for wear or corrosion damage of the drive strut anti-rotation knuckles and LBA bushes, and applicable corrective actions, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. DATES: This AD becomes effective December 3, 2020.
