The amendment added OTIP as a new office under the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Children and Families. OTIP is responsible for developing and implementing programs that assist both foreign and domestic victims of human trafficking as well as implementing antitrafficking legislation, appropriations, and Administration-driven priorities.
