2020 except for FAR Case 2019–013,
which is effective October 1, 2020.

This final rule amends the Federal
Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to further

requires an adjustment every 5 years (in
years evenly divisible by 5) of statutory
acquisition-related thresholds for
inflation using the Consumer Price
Index for all urban consumers, except
for the Construction Wage Rate
Requirements statute (Davis-Bacon Act),
Service Contract Labor Standards
statute, and trade agreements thresholds
(see FAR 1.109). DoD, GSA, and NASA
are also using the same methodology to
change nonstatutory FAR acquisitionrelated thresholds for adjustment in
2020. This final rule will not have a
significant economic impact on a
substantial number of small entities.
