In addition, Chapter 50 includes direction on procedures for assuming operation of a concession site during a shoulder season. After the public comment period closes, the Forest Service will consider timely comments that are within the scope of the proposed directives in the development of the final directives. The application was processed in accordance with the FTZ Act and Regulations, including notice in the Federal Register inviting public comment (85 FR 20397, May 15, 2020). The FTZ staff examiner reviewed the application and determined that it meets the criteria for approval.
