retransfer of 7,766,272,000 g of U.S.obligated natural uranium hexafluoride
(UF6), 5,250,000,000 g of which is
natural uranium, from Cameco
Corporation in Port Hope, Ontario,
Canada, to Urenco Deutschland GmbH,
in Gronau, Germany for toll enrichment.
Upon transfer to Germany, the material
will become subject to the Agreement
for Cooperation in the Peaceful Uses of
Nuclear Energy between the United
States of America and the European
Atomic Energy Community.
Pursuant to the authority in section
131 a. of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954,
as delegated, I have determined that this
proposed subsequent arrangement
concerning the retransfer of U.S.obligated nuclear material will not be
inimical to the common defense and
security of the United States of America.
