by the NRC when their guidance no
longer provides useful information or is
superseded by technological

RG 1.77 because its guidance has been
incorporated into RG 1.236,
‘‘Pressurized-Water Reactor Control Rod
Ejection and Boiling-Water Reactor
Control Rod Drop Accidents’’ (ADAMS
Accession No. ML20055F490). The basis
for withdrawal is found in ADAMS
