Groundfish Management Team (GMT)
will hold an online meeting to discuss
items on the Pacific Council’s June 2020
meeting agenda. The meeting is open to
the public.
DATES: The webinar will be held Friday,
May 29, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.,
Pacific Daylight Time, or until business
for the day has been completed.

online. Specific meeting information,
including directions on how to join the
meeting and system requirements will
be provided in the meeting
announcement on the Pacific Council’s

SUMMARY:
The
primary purpose of the GMT webinar is
to prepare for the Pacific Council’s June
2020 meeting. The GMT will discuss
items related to groundfish management
and administrative Pacific Council
agenda items. A detailed agenda for the
webinar will be available on the Pacific
Council’s website prior to the meeting.
The GMT may also address other
assignments relating to groundfish
management. No management actions
will be decided by the GMT.
Although non-emergency issues not
contained in the meeting agenda may be
discussed, those issues may not be the
subject of formal action during this
meeting. Action will be restricted to
those issues specifically listed in this
document and any issues arising after
publication of this document that
require emergency action under section
305(c) of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The
purpose of these online meetings will be
to continue to discuss and consider the
potential development of
recommendations for salmon
management/conservation measures,
and any associated modeling and
analysis that may be needed. The
Workgroup may also discuss and
prepare for future Workgroup meetings
and future meetings with the Pacific
Council and its advisory bodies.
Members of the Salmon Advisory
Subpanel will also be in attendance.
This is a public meeting and not a
public hearing. Public comments will be
taken at the discretion of the Workgroup
co-chairs as time allows.
