AGENCY: ACTION: SUMMARY: The North Central Idaho Resource Advisory Committee (RAC) will hold a virtual meeting. The committee is authorized under the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act (the Act) and operates in compliance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act. The purpose of the committee is to improve collaborative relationships and to provide advice and recommendations to the Forest Service concerning projects and funding consistent with Title II of the Act. ACTION: SUMMARY: Dan Dallas, the Forest Supervisor for the Rio Grande National Forest, Rocky Mountain Region, signed the Record of Decision (ROD) for the Rio Grande National Forest Land Management Plan (Forest Plan). The final ROD documents the rationale for approving the Forest Plan and is consistent with the reviewing officer’s responses to objections and instructions. DATES: The Forest Plan for the Rio Grande National Forest will become effective June 11, 2020. The Forest Plan identifies suitable uses of National Forest System lands and provides estimates of the planned timber sale quantity. The Forest Plan identifies priority watersheds for restoration and includes recommended wilderness areas and eligible wild and scenic rivers.
