applicants’ qualifications to determine
applicants’ eligibility for training
programs managed by the Office.
Applicants must provide the required
information requested in the respective
applications to be considered a
candidate for participation. Information
submitted by candidates for training
programs is reviewed initially by
OCRTME administrative staff to
establish eligibility for participation.
Eligible candidates are then referred to
the designated training program
director/administrator or training
program selection committee for review
and decisions regarding acceptance for
participation. A secondary objective of
the application process is to track
enrollment in training programs over
time.
OMB approval is requested for 3
years. There are no costs to respondents
other than their time. The total
estimated annualized burden hours 333.
including the validity of the
methodology and assumptions used; (3)
Ways to enhance the quality, utility, and
clarity of the information to be
collected; and (4) Ways to minimize the
burden of the collection of information
on those who are to respond, including
the use of appropriate automated,
electronic, mechanical, or other

May 21, 2020. Due to restrictions on inperson gatherings amid ongoing public
health concerns, the public forum will
be presented via webcast only.
NICEATM and ICCVAM members will
give presentations on current activities
related to the development and
validation of alternative test methods
and approaches, including activities
relevant to implementation of the
strategic roadmap for establishing new
approaches to evaluate the safety of
chemicals and medical products in the
United States (83 FR 7487).
There will be opportunities for
registered participants to ask clarifying
or follow-up questions of the ICCVAM
members about their presentations.

2000 (42 U.S.C. 285l–3) establishes
ICCVAM as a permanent interagency
committee of NIEHS and provides the
authority for ICCVAM involvement in
activities relevant to the development of

NICEATM administers ICCVAM,
provides scientific and operational
support for ICCVAM-related activities,
and conducts and publishes analyses
and evaluations of data from new,

applicable to the needs of U.S. federal
agencies. NICEATM and ICCVAM
