The project would occupy 0.651 acre of federal land in the Tongass National Forest, managed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service. In the EA, Commission staff analyzes the potential environmental effects of the project and concludes that issuing an exemption for the project, with appropriate environmental measures, would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. The Commission provides all interested persons an opportunity to view and/or print the EA via the internet through the Commission’s Home Page (https://www.ferc.gov) using the ‘‘eLibrary’’ link.
