ACTION:
The Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) announces a
forthcoming public advisory committee
meeting of the Medical Imaging Drugs
Advisory Committee. The general
function of the committee is to provide
advice and recommendations to FDA on
regulatory issues. The meeting will be
open to the public. FDA is establishing
a docket for public comment on this
document.
SUMMARY:
The meeting will be held on
April 23, 2020, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Agenda: The committee will discuss
new drug application 212123,
flortaucipir F18 intravenous injection, a
radioactive diagnostic agent, submitted
by Avid Radiopharmaceuticals, a
wholly owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly
and Company, for positron emission
tomography imaging of the brain to
estimate the density and distribution of
aggregated tau neurofibrillary tangles of
Alzheimer’s disease.
FDA intends to make background
material available to the public no later
than 2 business days before the meeting.
If FDA is unable to post the background
material on its website prior to the
meeting, the background material will
be made publicly available at the
location of the advisory committee
meeting, and the background material
will be posted on FDA’s website after

Procedure: Interested persons may
