Appendix 1– 16). The purpose of the Council is to advise the Secretary of the Interior with respect to the preparation and implementation of the management plan. Purpose of the Meeting: The Council agenda will include the introduction of the Acting Superintendent, the status of the monument’s preliminary planning process, an update on interpretive kiosks and the NPS brochure, an update on resource projects including the Working Together Against Weeds workshop, an update on the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, as well as subcommittee reports and election of the Council chairperson. The meeting is open to the public. Interested persons may present, either orally or through written comments, information for the Council to consider during the public meeting.
