CD19 and CD22 are each expressed on the surface of B cells in B cell malignancies and are hallmark examples of antigen targeting in CAR-T therapies, with CD19-targeting CAR-T therapies being the first FDA approved CAR-T, and CD22-targeting CAR-T showing early promise in clinical trials for ALL and NHL.
