Airworthiness Directives; The Boeing
Company Airplanes

ACTION: Final rule.
AGENCY:
The FAA is adopting a new
airworthiness directive (AD) for all The
Boeing Company Model 737–100, –200,
–200C, –300, –400, and –500 series
airplanes. This AD was prompted by
significant changes made to the
airworthiness limitations (AWLs)
related to fuel tank ignition prevention
and the nitrogen generation system.
This AD requires revising the existing
maintenance or inspection program, as
applicable, to include new or revised
AWLs. The FAA is issuing this AD to
address the unsafe condition on these
products.
SUMMARY:
This AD is effective January 21,
2020.
The Director of the Federal Register
approved the incorporation by reference
of a certain publication listed in this AD
as of January 21, 2020.
