To authorize the testing of combination 4G fiberboard boxes
for the transportation in commerce of hazardous materials
in which the inner packagings have been used multiple
times to complete the tests in §§ 178.603, 178.606, and
178.608. (modes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
To authorize the manufacture, marking, sale and use of a
non-refillable, non-DOT specification inside metal container. (modes 1, 2, 3, 4)
To authorize the transportation in commerce of explosives
forbidden for air transportation by cargo-only aircraft.

To authorize the transportation in commerce of low production lithium ion batteries contained in equipment by cargoonly aircraft. (mode 4)

herein. Each mode of transportation for
which a particular special permit is
requested is indicated by a number in
the ‘‘Nature of Application’’ portion of
the table below as follows: 1—Motor
vehicle, 2—Rail freight, 3—Cargo vessel,
4—Cargo aircraft only, 5—Passengercarrying aircraft.

expire on March 31, 2020. A Federal
Register notice soliciting comments on
this information collection was
published on July 30, 2019, (84 FR
37004). PHMSA did not receive any
comments pertaining to the renewal of
this information collection.
