Specifically, Tennessee proposes to plug and abandon the well, abandon in place approximately 1,167 feet of six-inch related lateral pipeline, abandon by removal other related appurtenant facilities including the well head, and restore the well site. Tennessee states that the proposed abandonment of Well 5564 will not affect the capacity of the Field or the deliverability into or from the Field. Further, Tennessee states that the project will not abandon or decrease service to its customers. If a Notice of Schedule for Environmental Review is issued, it will indicate, among other milestones, the anticipated date for the Commission staff’s issuance of the EA for this proposal. The filing of the EA in the Commission’s public record for this proceeding or the issuance of a Notice of Schedule for Environmental Review will serve to notify federal and state agencies of the timing for the completion of all necessary reviews, and the subsequent need to complete all federal authorizations within 90 days of the date of issuance of the Commission staff’s EA.
