Committee advises the Office of the
Assistant Secretary for Export
Administration with respect to technical
questions that affect the level of export
controls applicable to materials and
related technology.

formally determined on April 19, 2019,
pursuant to Section 10(d) of the Federal
Advisory Committee Act, as amended (5

the meeting dealing with pre-decisional
changes to the Commerce Control List
and the U.S. export control policies
shall be exempt from the provisions

AGENCY:
Background
On April 17, 2019, the Department of
Commerce (Commerce) initiated a lessthan-fair-value (LTFV) investigation of
imports of sodium sulfate anhydrous
from Canada.1 Currently, the
preliminary determination is due no
later than September 4, 2019.
Postponement of Preliminary
Determination
Section 733(b)(1)(A) of the Tariff Act
of 1930, as amended (the Act), requires
Commerce to issue the preliminary
determination in an LTFV investigation
within 140 days after the date on which
