hold a public meeting.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The
purpose of the meeting is for the FMAT
to discuss draft alternatives based on the
scoping comments and recreational/
commercial data for sector-based
allocations, commercial allocations to
the states, the transfer processes, and
the Fishery Management Plan goals and
objectives. An agenda and background
documents will be posted to the
Council’s website (www.mafmc.org)
prior to the meeting.
The New England Fishery
Management Council (Council) is
scheduling a public meeting of its Joint
Groundfish Committee and Advisory
Panel to consider actions affecting New
England fisheries in the exclusive
economic zone (EEZ).
Recommendations from this group will
be brought to the full Council for formal
consideration and action, if appropriate.

receive an overview on the Enforcement
Committee’s recommendations on the
draft alternatives, (4) receive a progress
report from the Plan Development
Team. They will also receive an update
on development of Framework
Adjustment 59/Specifications. Other
business will be discussed as necessary.
Although non-emergency issues not
contained in this agenda may come
before this group for discussion, those
