Airworthiness Directives; The Boeing

ACTION: Notice of proposed rulemaking
(NPRM).
AGENCY:
The FAA proposes to adopt a
new airworthiness directive (AD) for
certain The Boeing Company Model
787–8 and 787–9 airplanes. This
proposed AD was prompted by a report
that a passenger entry door assist handle
became detached during use. This
proposed AD would require a detailed
inspection of all passenger and service
entry door assist handles for correct
installation and applicable on-condition
actions. The FAA is proposing this AD
to address the unsafe condition on these
products.
DATES: The FAA must receive comments
on this proposed AD by August 29,
2019.
