The Black Lung Clinics Program seeks to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with occupationally-related coal mine dust lung disease. Collecting this data provides HRSA with information on the extent to which each grantee is meeting the needs of these miners in their communities. A 60-day notice was published in the Federal Register on March 7, 2019 (vol. 84, No. 45, p. 8336). There were no public comments.
