The public comment period was originally scheduled to close on June 3, 2019. By letter dated May 13, 2019 (ADAMS Accession No. ML19136A236), the American College of Radiology, the American Society for Radiation Oncology, and the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging jointly requested a 30-day extension to the public comment period. United Pharmacy Partners, Inc. also submitted a request for extension by letter dated May 14, 2019 (ADAMS Accession No. ML19136A238). Additional requests for an extension to the public comment period were also heard during a May 14, 2019, public comment meeting. The NRC is granting this request and will extend the public comment period until July 3, 2019, to allow more time for medical and regulatory stakeholders and members of the public to submit their comments.
