This helps us assess the impact of our information collection requirements and minimize the public’s reporting burden. It also helps the public understand our information collection requirements and provide the requested data in the desired format. We are soliciting comments on the proposed ICR that is described below. The BIA uses the information it collects to determine whether or not to grant a right-of-way, the value of the right-of-way, the appropriate compensation due to landowners, the amount of administrative fees that must be levied, and the penalties, if any, that should be assessed for violations of the right-ofway provisions.
